What is ForumSprache?
ForumSprache is a new online journal for those interested in both the theoretical and practical issues involved with the learning and teaching of languages. There will be two issues published each year one in spring and one in autumn. Each issue will include two kinds of contribution in separate sections.
The academic section will feature articles on issues in current foreign language research. They will have undergone a peer-review selection process.
The second section will be focused on contributions dealing with practical issues in foreign language teaching, e.g. classroom materials or successful teaching projects. ForumSprache will thus provide a forum for the work of innovative teachers and young researchers.
Who is ForumSprache for?
ForumSprache addresses both scholars working in the field of foreign language study and language teachers at all levels and in any context. It is also of interest to students, trainee teachers, teacher trainers and educators. The online journal aims to address an international readership and to include contributions from many countries on the theoretical and practical sides of learning and teaching German, English, French, Russian or Spanish as foreign languages.
