What kind of food can you bring? c Work in 2 groups. Each group writes an invitation for a party like in b. d Your teacher picks one of the invitations. What kind of party is it? What can you wear / bring? Talk in small groups. It’s a red and white party. We could wear red and white clothes. I’ll wear my red jeans. What about you? I’ll wear a white blouse. And I’ll make spaghetti bolognese. e Prepare your party food in your groups from c. Think of six different dishes and three kinds of drink. Write one card for each dish and one for each drink like in the example. What is it? What’s in it? What’s it like? What does it go well with? f Set up your party in the classroom. Your teacher is the host. Meet the other guests, make small talk and find out about the other dishes at the party. What’s your favourite dish? Which dishes would you like the recipes for? g Was it easy to make small talk and describe the food?
